Kunthan kulam

Kunthankulam is a bird sanctuary near Tirunelveli. We visited eith our grand sons by Sx4(car) on 15th April '12,

Sunday.It is a  calm place, banned by noice by guns, crackers,etc,.

Cataract

Last August 18th,I underwent cataract surgery on my right eye at Aravind hospital, Madurai.Next day morning
I woke up and want to test my left eye vision through camera. I took these two photos as : 1. before the surgery

and 2. after the surgery. Here the two photos.
      There is no difference between the two; but in 2nd picture is more beautiful than the 1st. Is it not ?

Depth of focus: In a photo, the 'depth' is very important and give a 3D effect to that picture.Such a picture I
captured in a road having near trees and far away the way.See this, long shot of distant passengers view clearly with the beautiful shadow if trees.

Our family.

This is our family photo taken during Ram Kumar's wedding reeption. Though some of mambers are absent,
they were out of station at that time,this is a full picture taken in a family function arranged by the lensmen.
Certainly I missed this oppertunity to capture this one; but my oneof myniece, Deivapreetha gave her compact camera to one of the cameraman and get this 'wonderful shot.Really it is a valuable click in my album.

Eelangi koil

Day before yesterday we visited Tenkasi,and then Melagaram. Ram Kumar's return marriage at his father-in-law's house was taken place there.We then visited the temple of Eelangi at 6:30pm.On that available light I
took this snap on front gate of it.The dim light also was gone out while we enter into temple,so the only photo
was captured there; other was group on flash light which is not ihcluded here.

cultivation

recently I attended a marriage in a marriage hall. I happened the scene behind window where the peasant-ladies sowing the paddy saplings in wed soil.On seeing this I recalled the name of my town is Thirunelveli.

Kaleidoscopic views

I once tried to capture the kaleidoscopic views in still camera. I used for this,a canon compact and kaleidoscope

tube that my grand daughter used to play.The pictures came nicely.The objects are the sofa in living room, kids chair,lamp post & plants through window,etc,.
